Catholic Womens League

The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) was founded in 1906 by Margaret Fletcher.  We are a national organisation of over 5,000 members, encouraging women to use their skills in charitable and educational work in the service of the Church, at parish, diocesan, national and international levels.

The League undertakes a wide range of work, with a particular emphasis on social care and education.

Together we can make friends and find opportunities to help others in practical ways - Help with Parish events bringing people together - Fundraise and work for Parish, local and other charities

Felixstowe Section is a friendly, vibrant, young-at-heart group who will make YOU most welcome.  We meet in the Church Hall on the 2nd Monday of the month.  We have a varied programme of events including:

  • Summer Dinner Date
  • National Pilgrimage to Westminster
  • Italian Evening
  • Speakers from Suffolk Carers
  • National Council Meeting in Torquay
  • Christmas Dinner

We are part of the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations and we CAN make a difference locally, nationally, and internationally. In 2008 we raised over £3,000 for a variety of charities.

Come and join us!
