Parish Life

For those who wish to become more involved in the life of our church - and we encourage you to do so -  a number of groups and societies are active in the parish.

Links to more information appear in the sub-categories above.  The parish is also indebted to the team of workers who operate 'behind the scenes' such as the flower arrangers, sacristans, MCs, repository staff and church cleaners, to enhance the life and worship of our community.

Help?  There is the common misconception that volunteering necessarily implies a huge commitment of time--say every week for the rest of your life. Not so! We understand that you have a family, a job, other interests, and not a lot of free time.

Most of our ministries need volunteers.  If you can usher, serve tea, count money, etc. etc. etc., you are needed.  Please pray about the possibility of helping for an hour or two a month, or whatever your schedule will allow.

Besides, Saint Felix parishioners are some of the brightest, wittiest, nicest and most interesting people around, and volunteering will give you the opportunity to meet some of them.  Please pray about this commitment.

There are different gifts but the same Spirit;
there are different ministries but the same Lord;
there are different works but the same God
who accomplishes all of them in everyone.
To each person the manifestation of the
Spirit is given for the common good.
