Our Priest

name is Fr. David Hennessy and I have only recently become parish
priest at St Felix, following the sudden death in March 2007 of my
much-loved predecessor, Fr John McNally, who had been parish priest
here for thirteen years. I have been a priest for just nine years,
having had a life in teaching as a De La Salle Brother for over
twenty-one years prior to that.
As
parish priest of St Felix, part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of East
Anglia, I am delighted to welcome you to our website. We keep the site
regularly updated and hope you will find our site both interesting and
enjoyable. When browsing through these pages, I would ask you to pay particular attention to our services at the weekend.
Whilst all our community activities are important, our faith in the
risen Christ is absolutely vital to our lives - as individuals and as a
community - and Sunday is the traditional day when Christians celebrate
the resurrection of Christ, the centre-point of our faith.
